Little Futures ❤ the NHS: our response to COVID-19

Like everyone, we have been following the course of this global pandemic and the terrible impact it has already had. We hope that you, your family, and loved ones are all healthy.

It’s a sad fact that many children’s parties have unfortunately been cancelled. But it is of course the right thing to do. We also realise children’s birthdays don’t just stop. There are plenty of kids having birthdays pass by without their friends and family. We absolutely want to stay at home and protect the NHS, but maybe we can also help make those birthdays a little easier.

What we’re doing to help:

Virtual parties

We’ve introduced the option to set your event as ‘virtual’. This means instead of entering an address you can put a link to Zoom or whatever video call software you use. Friends and family can contribute to your child’s gifts if they wish, then on the day, everyone can jump on a call and sing happy birthday! Not quite as good as a physical party but at least we can still share some smiling faces :)

NHS charity donations

When you set up an invite you can choose to donate part or all of your child’s received gift contributions to the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal, supporting NHS Staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients. For all events that select the NHS charity option we will waive our fee and send this directly to the NHS fund too.

It’s not a lot, but we hope we can help just a tiny bit during these unprecedented times.

Stay safe everyone.
